Custom Display of Ancient Bukharian Jewish Textiles

Displaying a Collection of Ancient Textiles

Adat Shalom synagogue asked Flutter & Wow to convert a former payphone niche in their concrete building into a bespoke display case for a congregationalists collection of beautiful historic Bukharian textiles.

Using materials and styles of the existing building, we created a versatile, modular, custom exhibit space that fits perfectly within the existing structure, spatially and aesthetically. Exhibits can be switched out over time by synagogue staff, with easy-to-adjust display shelving and lighting.
