Black Forum Records

Motown Museum, 2016

Exhibition design, fabrication, and installation.

Black Forum Records was a Motown imprint in the 1970’s, and a platform for Black expression and education through a series of spoken word albums, featuring such luminaries as Stokely Carmichael, Elaine Brown, and and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  This compelling exhibit at the Motown Museum is rich in carefully-curated historical photographs and album art – a powerful reflection on turbulent times that resonates with with our present day.
