Our Philosophy

Jason Jay Stevens

Principal, Designer, Manager, Builder

Jason is a lifelong practitioner of exhibit design, interpretation, and art. Following two decades of stints in science and art museums, exhibit and specialty fabrication firms, he founded Flutter & Wow so he can pursue his interest in building agile teams of creative and smart people to do unique and high quality work, and to indulge in his love for content, conceptual planning, visitor engagement, and straight-up cleverness. He teaches courses in exhibit and environmental design at Lawrence Technological University, and has written about the history and practice of exhibit design. He currently sits on the Board of the National Association for Museum Exhibition.

Meghan Sullivan

Designer, Manager

Meghan works with Flutter & Wow as a designer and project manager, allowing her to use her creativity alongside her love of making sure budgets are on target and deadlines are met. Meghan thrives on seeing each unique project go from concept to completion. When not working, she will always say yes to an opportunity to climb ice, cycle gravel roads, or explore a national park with her son.

Joey Ostrander

Builder

Joey styles himself a creative solutions engineer and a dutiful servant to the arts. He is a curious student of any new practice, technique, or tool. He is skilled in a broad range of mediums and trades with particular affinities for hammers and cameras. And he believes that with a pervasive creative network of colleagues, a ravenous craving for new challenges, and an unrelenting assault of vocabulary words, his teams can propose real solutions to virtually any problem.
